Race Description

Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, the 13.1 mile route takes runners through four of London’s most beautiful parklands; Hyde Park, St James’s Park, Kensington Gardens and Green Park. As you run you will be inspired by great views of iconic London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, the London Eye, the Royal Albert Hall and the Palace of Westminster.

Around 12,500 runners including some celebrity names will participate in this exciting event, and around 40,000 supporters and spectators are expected.

Environmental impact is obviously a key concern to the organisers of the Royal Parks Half so they’ve taken serious steps to ensure sustainability; water bottles and race shirts are made from recycled materials and any surplus food or clothing at the end of the event is donated to charities.

Every runner is presented with a leaf shaped medal upon reaching the end created by master craftsman Mark Wilkinson from an old Oak Burr in Richmond Park!
