Race Description
Situated on the outskirts of Winchester, Matterley Bowl offers a unique and challenging environment for the newest running and endurance event in the ‘challenge calendar’…. The General. We offer two disciplines for you to choose from.
Whether you enjoy the challenge of a cross country run, taking in the stunning scenery of the South Downs in The General 10K or overcoming the the gruelling obstacle course of The General 10K Battle Zone, complete with ‘rifle’, The General is the challenge event for you.
THE GENERAL 10K
Enjoy a challenge and take breath-taking scenery, possibly the best new 10k cross country in 2012’s calendar
THE GENERAL 10K BATTLE ZONE
Enjoy an added challenge to the 10k with a gruelling obstacle course thrown in.
THE GENERAL 10K RIFLE
Enjoy all of the above whilst carrying an object the length and weight of today ’s SA80 ‘Rifle’
