Race Description

Tails on the Trail is a dog-friendly 5k to raise money for Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka, KS. Proceeds go towards helping them move in to the new building on 21st and Belle. Tails on the Trail will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012, with registration beginning at 9:00 am. The run/walk will take place on the Shawnee North Nature Trail, with vendors and dog-friendly activities placed around the park. This is a great event for the entire family. There is something for everyone! All dogs welcome! Come walk or run with your furry friend to support Helping Hands. Don’t worry, dogs are not required to participate, but “Rent-a-dog” will be available. This allows you to participate with an adoptable dog which helps socialize and exercise the animals.
