The Baytown Heat Wave is run mostly on flat, concrete / asphalt-surfaced streets through the southwestern section of Baytown. The course encompasses Bicentennial Park, the City Hall Complex and residential areas. 
Run in the the Highest Off-the-Ground Half Marathon in Texas, 177 feet water clearance. Start at Sylvan Beach, go over the Fred Hartman Bridge into Baytown. You are half way done!
