Venicemarathon is much more than a running competion: from the very beginning, the organisers tried to associate the marathon to charitable initiatives to help people in need with specific projects. In 2010, there are three different solidarity iniatives that are being developed; Run for Water, Run for Life, Bimbingamba, Adopt a Bridge for Venice.
The Spires & Steeples Challenge is a charity run/walk following public footpaths and bridleways. Participants will be able to see beautiful artworks and church architecture along the way as well as taking in a variety of Lincolnshire villages and countryside.
