A fast and flat course through Stanley Park run in aid of HomeStart Blackpool – who support families and carers across the Fylde. Fast and flat course with clear mile markers. Compete on a course along the promenades of Fleetwood & Cleveleys with a great view of Morecambe Bay. Women-only race along Blackpool promenade. Stanley Park comprises 390 acres of ornamental gardens, statues, water fountains and memorials. Compete on this traffic free, two-lap course for prizes in the first three places of each category. A multi-lap flat and fast course giving participants the best opportunity to record a PB. The course makes its way from Beadnell to Alnmouth using public footpaths and roadways. The BUPA Great South Run is billed as “the world’s leading 10 mile running event” and sees thousands of runners tour the naval dockyards of Portsmouth. The event will be televised live on Channel 5 – so be sure to pack your best fancy dress!
