  Men

  1st Toby Spencer – Coventry Godiva harriers – 51.55 (This beat the course set last year by James Kevan of Horwich by over 2 minutes)

  2nd Anthony Valentine – Bolton United Harriers – 52.56

  3rd Mike Flatley – Middleton Harriers – 55.54 (V40)

  4th Stewart Gregory – Holme Pierrepont RC – 55.58 (V45)

  5th Tony Battersby – Leigh Harriers & AC – 56.38

  Women

  1st Hayley Kuter – Salford Harriers – 58.49 (This beat the course record set in the 1st year by Joanna Gooney of Wesham by over 6 minutes)

  2nd Maria Barrett – Liverpool Harriers & AC – 60.17

  3rd Bev Jenkins – Salford Harriers – 62.04 (LV40)

  4th Jacqueline Fairchild – Trafford AC – 62.20

  5th Amy Green – Keighley & Craven AC – 62.44

  Men’s team – Bolton United Harriers (Anthony Valentine 2nd, Shay Walker 6th and mark Swannell 9th)

  Women’s team – Salford Harriers (Hayley Kuter 1st, Bev Jenkins 3rd and Clair O’Connor 8th)

  1st Swinton Running Club man – Tony Flanagan – 60.14
  1st Swinton Running Club woman – Julie Hamilton – 82.06

  Rob Jackson of Horwich RMI came 10th in 58.30 and he has competed in our half marathon and now the ten miler for the past 26 years.
