Race Description

The SUBWAY Helping Hearts™ Family 5K series is bouncing back to Newport for 2017! With lots of free and fun entertainment including face-painting, games and a bouncy castle, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family to enjoy!

You can take part in the 5K Fun Run, and at the 4.5K mark, there is the option to enter the iconic ‘Field of Fresh’, a giant inflatable obstacle course before racing to the finish line!

Children under 12 go free, and it’s only £7 for everyone else, with all proceeds raised, including your entry fee, helping to support the Heart Research UK and SUBWAY® Healthy Heart Grants scheme, which funds heart health initiatives in your area.

In addition to the 5K Fun Run, participants receive the following for FREE: participant t-shirt, delicious SUBWAY® lunch, finishers’ medal and access to the fun family entertainment area.
