Race Description

Once again Hyde Village Striders presents “Stride Through The Woods” a two-lap multi- terrain race around our stomping ground, the Tame Valley. You’ll probably not have time to appreciate the fine scenery as you speed along the hard packed river trail, romp over the grass and stagger through the short muddy section, but you will finish with a smile on your face!

We are pleased to announce that this year we have got What’s My Time aboard to chip time the race for us.

There is 35m of ascent on each lap, with a short sharp 20m climb at one end of the loop and a steady 15m climb at the other. Other than those small climbs and a short splash through the mud it’s full steam ahead on good trail.
