Race Description

Join us Sunday June 11th, 2023 11:00am for 3rd Annual Stride for Pride 5K Run. Events will run Kirby Park, Wilkes-barre PA. Can’t make it on race day? We will also be hosting a Virtual 5K. Run any time Saturday or Sunday, and submit your results back to our timing friends at Second Wind Timing. Virtual race will be scored and results displayed by Monday June 12th. Registered participants will receive a finisher medal while there will be three top finisher medals for males, females and non-binary. Register by the deadline and you will be guaranteed an event t-shirt to commemorate the day, any registered after will be given a t-shirt as long as supplies last. This will be our first in-person event since COVID and we hope to see any many people there as possible in celebration of Pride month. Queer NEPA is always looking to make queer positive spaces for our LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Whether you are running, walking, joining us virtually at your own pace or just there to cheer on our participants we look forward to seeing everyone there!
