Race Description

September 15 & 16, 2012

The Straddie Salute is a must-do weekend on Queensland’s triathlon calendar – it’s now set to become the most unique.
It’s the perfect weekend away. Three events over two days in one big weekend of adventure.

Swim the crystal clear waters in the Straddie 1000 Ocean Swim (Sat), venture out along one of Queensland’s most beautiful coastal trails in the 8km Adventure Run / Walk (Sun) or conquer the famous Straddie Salute Triathlon (Sun).

North Stradbroke Island boasts some of the best surfing, whalewatching, snorkeling, diving and 4WDing in Queensland so be sure to make time to sample all that the island has to offer… that includes sundowners at the iconic Straddie Beach Hotel!
