Race Description

The perfect half marathon in rural Suffolk countryside is hosted by Stowmarket Striders Running Club and held in memory of Joe Cox and is kindly sponsored by local business Tomlinson Groundcare.

Chip Timed and held under UKA rules.

The Half Marathon race is open to all entrants aged 17 years or older on race day with a course suitable for racing wheelchairs. The route takes in some of Suffolk’s quietest rural country roads through undulating scenic countryside.
Course records: Mens – Aaron Scott (Notts AC) 1:09.17 (2016); Womens – Odette Robson (Saint Edmunds Pacers) 1:20:54 (2015)

All runners completing the 13.1 miles receive a momento.

Prizes will be awarded to:

1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female winners

Male Vet 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70+
Female Vet 35, 40, 45, 50 , 55, 60, 65+

Online Entry: Affliliated – £16 / unaffiliated – £18

Entry on the day if availability allows: Affiliated – £18 / unaffiliated – £20
