Race Description

The Stoke Stampede is held annually on 26th December. Known as the Somerset Boxing Day run it attracts runners from all over the South West of England and beyond. It has a figure 8 course over quiet country lanes. Mainly flat, yet there are a few little hills to conquer making it a course fit for all.
Runners return for various reasons we have been told. The main ones : very well and friendly marshalling, great course, one of the best crowds cheering the runners on.

Prepare yourself for a fast race if you want to or a happy and relaxed one if that is what you are looking for. Whichever you are looking for we will try our hardest to make you one of many runners who meet again at the Stoke Stampede year after year.
