Race Description

Texas Stallions Track Club is launching Ways to Enhance Children’s Activity & Nutrition! (We Can!), a national education program from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to prevent obesity among youth ages 8-13. We Can! reaches parents and caregivers with educational materials and community programs to encourage healthy eating, increase physical activity and reduce sedentary time.

The event will feature 3 trail races and a free fitness zone. The Stampede will feature a 2k Fun Run race for kids 5 – 14, a chip timed 5K and 10K Relay for individuals 15 and up. Participation medals will be given to all and Top 3 medals for overall male and female in each age division.

The We Can!® FitZone is a free festival offering fun, health related samples, demonstrations, and seminars for the community to learn creative ways to get active!
