Race Description

5k run benefiting “Wounded Warriors” Semper Fi Association of Greater Saint Louis.

Who: Open to all.
Themes: City of St Louis and Metro Area supporting their veterans in need. Veterans and those friendly to veteran issues in greater STL area. Dogs and Dog friendly, message of the deep affection of our Military and their Pets.
What:

  • 5k for runners only- Bagpiper march and Honor guard presence.
  • 1 mile walk/dog walk with Catholic Dog blessings.
  • Dog uniform contest.
  • 3/24 Static Displays and participation.
  • Veteran Friendly booths with associations and charities.
  • Canine booths. Potential Stray Rescue and APA.
  • Potential beer and food tents.

7:00-7:30 a.m. Late Registration
7:30 a.m.. Catholic Dog Blessings
8:00 a.m. Race Begins
8:15 a.m Dog Walk Begins
9:00 a.m. Dog Uniform Contest
9:30 a.m. Prizes Awarded
7am to noon Beer Drinking and BBQ
Breakdown 1300 ish
Follow on party – to the afternoon at yet to be established bar.
