Race Description
The Spartan Race is a 5k adventure race taking place at the Malibu Conference Center at the Calamigos Ranch on Sunday December 12th. The race features obstacles like 4′ hurdles, 8′ wall, 12′ slippery ramp, cargo net climb, barbed wire crawl, water cannon, and has Spartan inspired elements like a spear throw and gladiator pit. Proceeds of the race go to Homes for our Troops, a charity dedicated to providing specialty homes for veterans who have been severely injured. There will be a post-race party, awards ceremony and a kid’s race, as well as many other activities guaranteed to be fun for the entire family! Type in the word “runla” and it will take $10 off the entry fee, but hurry because tickets are going fast!
