The United Community Change Freedom Celebration Walk is diverse in culture, educational and progressive. An opportunity for you to be apart of the change that promotes community unity and diverse and inclusive civic participation, increase non partisan community knowledge and the amount of diverse people to act on their legal right to vote locally and nationally in upcoming elections while celebrating the history and holiday that laid the foundation of those rights.

Key note speakers, and performances while getting to know new faces.
Beat the obstacles of freedom by participating in the Freedom Walk, exciting dance breaks, tot run, 5k run, and the largest water fight in the city at Jordan Valley water park.
Juneteenth Celebration with various, games, swag, water fountain and bounce house fun. ( Bring wet clothes or swim wear)
Interact and network with local leadership. Learn who represents you and how the community has evolved and/or what to expect going forward.
Visit with prominent corporate leaders and sponsors for job opportunities and programs.
Engage with non profit organizations working to change the world by helping you register to vote to maintain the freedoms you hold close.
Sign up to volunteer in the days leading up to the race and on race day. Volunteers who sign up by May 25 will receive a volunteer shirt.

This is only so we can properly track how many attendees we have at the event. Thank you for letting us know you will be there yet opting out of the more physical activities.
5K Virtual Participants: = $25
You get the flexibility of running your race wherever you feel comfortable. If you want to support but want to take safer precautions this is for you. You will get all the goodies in a virtual format and be sent a T-shirt and a medal and a printable Award certificate. Its all based on the honor system. So, record your race time when you are finished and don’t forget to come back for race time results to see the winners both here and in the Facebook group.
Virtual Water Fight = $15 (sign up as soon as possible so we can ship supplies before event day)
If you are a virtual water fight participant get all your friends signed up with you and have the time of your life. You will receive a T-shirt and printable participation certificate. Go out and get more balloons and water guns to have a blast and get the entire neighborhood around you united in this awesome fun. Post Pictures and videos with #UccFreedomFight #Freddomwalk2022 for a chance to win awesome prizes.
This event proceeds will go to the United Community Change Organization to increase Diversity Equity and Inclusion awareness in our community by furthering partnerships and funding our programs. 20% of all proceeds will go toward supporting minority children in the local area to go to any extra curricular program activities of their choice to increase opportunities they would not have access to otherwise.
