Race Description

Join us for the eleventh annual Sour Grapes Races held in the beautiful 540 acre Northland Arboretum. The course is challenging, but beautiful. Your hard work will be rewarded with a T-shirt, finisher token and light refreshments. Our unique setting makes this a family favorite. All proceeds are donated to the Northland Arboretum.

Race includes a half marathon, 10K run or walk, Kids 1 M and Kids 1/2 M.

New this year is chip timing and race day registration.

Is it the lure of the beautiful Northwoods setting or the “Minnesota Friendly” attitude that sets our race apart from others? Decide for yourself as you plan to attend our eleventh annual race in the 540 acres of Green Space at the Brainerd Arboretum. The half marathon course and 10K run/walk course covers the beautiful, but challenging, terrain of wooded trails. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Northland Arboretum, a non-profit organization.

All participants will be given a t-shirt, a finisher token, and will be treated to after race refreshments and prizes at the awards ceremony. Bring the family and join in on the fun and camaraderie of a great bunch of running
enthusiasts.

Each year our number of runners/walkers grow as well as our donations. Thanks for making this a great event!!
