Race Description

Join us for the 8th Annual Stars & Stripes Run~Walk!

Community members of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in Sitrin’s 8th Annual Stars & Stripes Run~Walk! This event is the major fundraiser for Sitrin’s Military Rehabilitation Program, providing comprehensive care to veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress, depression and anxiety, traumatic brain injury, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and other combat-related conditions. Any post-9/11 veteran who chooses to be treated at Sitrin pays nothing for his or her care.

Individuals and teams can participate in honor or in memory of a loved one who has served our country. The event will feature a 5K run, 5K wheelchair race, 2-mile walk, and a fun-filled, military-inspired obstacle course.

Thanks to the community’s continuous support of this event, Sitrin is able to provide local veterans with both traditional and non-traditional forms of treatments, such as individual and family counseling, planned helpfulness, Equine Assisted Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, fellowship opportunities, and much more.

Register for this year’s Run~Walk online or email Cheryl Jassak at cjassak@sitrin.com for more information.
