Race Description

If you are hunting for a PB or training for the London Marathon then The Spring Shakespeare is for you! Set on a deserted airfield in Warwickshire the races offers one of the flattest courses in the country!

For new runners, we have a 5K distance which is just one lap of the course. And you have the added advantage of starting with all the runners who will help to carry you along to the finish.

The Route
The route is 5 kilometres long and all off road at the County Raceway. The 10K (two laps) and the half marathon (four laps + out and back) are designed to give spectators lots of opportunities to cheer you on as you pass by. With no roads or traffic to navigate, all you have to do is concentrate on running. Easy. We hope you enjoy the course and we look forward to you running with us.

Marathon distance – 8 and a bit laps round the airfield…it may be dull but it’ll be the flattest and fastest marathon you can find!
Cut off time of 5 hours

The Races
All the races start at the same time – 11am – and follow a 5K loop. The 10km and half marathon loop round two or four times. The Kids Fun Run starts at 10.15 and the route is adjacent to the main course.
