This event is a fun family event! Handmade medals from South Africa are awarded to the top three runners in each age group. All proceeds go directly to our missions initiatives in Africa for medical equipment, education, and community health. Past proceeds have helped provide medical supplies and wells for clean drinking water. This race is a fast, flat course, and we have some of the best post-race food in town (so we’ve been told). After the main 5K event, a Kid’s Fun Run will be held. The race begins and ends at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, located in Leawood, Kansas. This is our 10th year to host this event. We’d love to have you join us!
