Race Description

When: Rushcliffe’s annual 10k race and 2k fun run will take place at Rushcliffe Country Park in Ruddington on Sunday 4 March 2012. The 10K race starts at 10.30am and fun run starts at 10.45am.

Where: Rushcliffe Country Park, Mere Way, Ruddington, NG11 6JS.

Who: The 10k race is for beginners and keen runners aged 15 and over and will be chip timed. The 2k fun run is for everyone.

Cost: £10 for UK Athletics members, £12 for everyone else. The fun run entry is £3.

The course involves two circuits of the country park and is off-road (traffic free). A t-shirt and mementos are given to everyone taking part.

The event is run with Rushcliffe Athletics Club and Cerebral Palsy Sport. Cerebral Palsy Sport is the official race charity and receives £1 from every entry fee. The charity helps children and adults with physical disabilities improve how they feel via taking part in sport. If you would like to help raise vital funds, request a sponsor form with your registration pack.

Please note: use of MP3 players during the race is not allowed for health and safety reasons (i.e you can’t hear people around you.)
