Race Description

The Run Like A Mother 5K is a joyful Mother’s Day road running event involving the entire family. Now in its 14th year, it starts with a kids’ 1-mile race and follows with a women-only 5K through the picturesque streets of downtown Ridgefield, CT. Hundreds of friends and family members line the course to cheer on their moms, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, and friends while a festive party awaits runners at the finish in Ballard Park.
Our passionate participants range from first-timers to seasoned athletes. Many mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, and friends make it an annual tradition. One thing they all have in common is a commitment to do something physically, mentally and emotionally for themselves. For many, Run Like a Mother kicks off of a newfound love of running and wellness that lasts!
Partnering with Ridgefield/Darien Running Company (recently awarded Best Running Store in the USA for 2022 at The Running Event) for the Run Like A Mother race is a perfect way for you to engage with this highly influential audience while helping women stay active and move #forwardtogether.
