Race Description

Now in its 47th year, Run for the Zoo is a fun and rewarding way to contribute directly towards animal care, conservation efforts, and education initiatives at Lincoln Park Zoo that help animals both locally and around the world. This race is suitable for all levels, featuring a flat, scenic course that winds around and through the zoo. Choose from:

* 10K Run
* 5K Run
* 5K Walk
* Kids’ Course (for kids ages 3–8)
* Wildlife Warrior (run both the 10K and 5K)
* Virtual Race options

Whether you’re a competitive athlete in training or a preschooler ready to clamber through a child-friendly obstacle course, there’s a place for you at Run for the Zoo. All race participants receive a tech-blend shirt, high-quality medal, and other post-race goodies. Kids’ Course participants also receive a T-shirt and Kids’ Course medal.
