Race Description

Get moving on the Lakefront Trail and join us for a community celebration of our parks at our 4th Annual Run for the Parks 5K! Presented by Chicago Parks Foundation. Sponsored by Banner Wholesale Grocers.

Start the morning with either the timed out-and-back 5K course on the path or a guided 1-Mile Burnham Wildlife Corridor Nature Walk. Children 10 and under can be part of the Kids Dash. Then enjoy our post-race pancake party with food, drinks, and community fun – all right in the park!

All event registrations include a commemorative shirt, Finisher’s Medal, and post-race party food/beverage ticket. Family-friendly. All ages and abilities welcome.
