ARCHIVED RACE: Run Falmouth 1/2 marathon 18th March 2012

Take part in Falmouth’s first Half Marathon in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care. (UKA Licence Number
2012-103281)
13.1 miles taking in some of the greatest locations in the fantastic maritime town of Falmouth. Starting and finishing at The Moor in Falmouth with a runners village and registration at The Packet Station (Wetherspoons). Then passing Gyllngvase Beach, through to Swanpool and Maenporth beaches before heading inland to Mawnan Smith and Buddock Water before turning back through Penryn and along the waterfront again back into Falmouth town.

Cornwall Hospice Care is the charity which provides adult hospice care to the people of Cornwall living with life limiting illnesses at its two hospices, st Julia’s Hospice in Hayle and Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell. The care is provided free of charge to the patients and their families, but costs near to £6 million a year. With limited funding the charity relies heavily on the generosity and support of the local community.
