Race Description

RUN CANE BAY 5k & 10k March 19th 2022- FEATURING CUSTOM MADE FINISHER MEDALS!

Please Join us for our next Community event. We are hosting an in-person 5k and 10k starting at the Cane Bay Family YMCA and proceeding along the Cane Bay Plantation Trails and ending at the YMCA. This will be a supported course with on-course volunteers, aid stations, and traffic control.

This is a fun flat and fast course, with the improvement in the community there will be a slight change to the course for 2022. The course is held on the Cane Bay Plantation multi-use trail system, which crosses several side streets and uses the tunnels to assist in road crossings. There is a 400ft section that is dirt and unpaved, runners must use caution! This area will be marked and supported.

The course will be marked, supported, and traffic controlled by Berkeley County Sherriff Department.

A Post-race celebration with Food Trucks, Vendors, and offerings from a local brewery are in the works.

Bibs, give-away, swag, and add-on items will be available for pick up prior to the race at the Cane Bay Family YMCA. We are planning a packet pick up party, Race morning pickup will be available as well. Virtual packets will be mailed the week after the event.

CASH Awards and prizes will be given for 1st and 2nd Male and Female Overall in the 5k and 10k distances.
