ARCHIVED RACE: Ruby’s 5K Walk/Run for Foster Kids Education @ Mill Creek Park, Willingboro, NJ, United States on 25 June 2022

Join us for our First Annual 5K Walk/Run for Foster Kids through lovely Mill Creek Park in Willingboro, New Jersey. Check-In/Registration at 7 am / Run at 8 am. Register before June 1st to get the early bird price of $25; on June 1, the price increases to $30 per person! Registration includes entry into the race, your bib, an event t-shirt, a light healthy breakfast, and water during the run.

Ruby’s Foster Village (RFV) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational support to foster youth and those leaving the foster care system, by helping them graduate high school and continue on through college. Only 51% of foster youth graduate high school, and only 4% make it through college. One out of every five youth who age out of the foster care system lack a home when they turn 18. These kids end up living in poverty and often end up homeless because they are faced with navigating the transition to adulthood alone. We are passionately dedicated to changing the statistics through education. RFV extends a lifeline of support to these youth by providing basic needs, a pathway to graduation and college, and most importantly, hope for the future.
