Race Description

October 8th and 9th will see the 21st ANNIVERSARY running of the famous Royal Marines COMMANDO CHALLENGE Team Charity Event on Woodbury Common near Exmouth, Devon. The event allows civilians to see first hand what its like to take on the Royal Marines ENDURANCE training course and to get “down and dirty” just as the Marines do everyday.

Anyone over the age of 16 can enter in teams of 3 or more – we do have who football and rugby teams entering – so there is no upper limit to team sizes.

The 4k FUN event is held between 0900 and 1130 on Saturday 8th October and the more testing 10k is 1200 – 1500 on Saturday 8th and 0900 – 1500 on Sunday 9th Oct.

The event is a charity event on behalf of the Devon Air ambulance Trust “who are not just there for the people of Devon” and for the Royal Marines who are currently deployed to the high threat environment of Afghanistan.
