Race Description

On Sunday 14th October 2012 the grounds of Blenheim Palace open once again for the 17th annual Rotary Blenheim 10K run. This event, run by Woodstock & Kidlington Rotary Club, is always popular as it offers entrants the opportunity to run around a World Heritage Site through parklands on traffic-free metalled roads. This year’s 10K run is in aid of SpecialEffect a charity dedicated to helping ALL young people with disabilities to enjoy computer games. For these children, the majority of computer games are simply too quick or too difficult to play, and we can help them and their parents to find out which games they CAN play, and how to adapt those games that they can’t. It helps children with for example cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy and even soldiers with limb loss see their web site http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/index.htm for more information on this worthy charity.
