Race Description

This course is going to be one of the most beautiful routes you will ever run. The race starts and finishes at the historic Stanley hotel in Estes Park, CO. Runners will run a complete loop around Lake Estes followed by a run up dry gulch road. The final 3 miles is a run down Devil’s Gulch road that provides some of the most spectacular views of Longs Peak and the Rocky Mountains.

It is a slightly hilly course with overall elevation gain of about 500 feet. Saturday, August 17, 2013. The Rocky Mountain Half Marathon is part of a series of races near US National Parks.
