Race Description

THE MARATHON BECOMES A TEAM SPORT

The relay race runs along the same course as the marathon (42.195 km). It is open to teams of 6 runners.

The Relay Marathon Caisse d’Epargne des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes rules :

A timing chip becomes the relay baton. It will be attached to the ankle-deep. In each town, you will find a specific place for the relay transfer. In these areas, runners will find a refreshment station as well as music and bands.

6 runners to run 3.0 km to 10.8 km :

  • Relay 1 : From Nice to Saint-Laurent-du-Var > 8,7 km
  • Relay 2 : From Saint Laurent-du-Var to Cagnes-sur-Mer > 3,0 km
  • Relay 3 : From Cagnes-sur-Mer to Villeneuve-Loubet > 5,2 km
  • Relay 4 : From Villeneuve-Loubet to Antibes Juan-les-Pins > 8,1 km
  • Relay 5 : From Antibes Juan-les-Pins to Vallauris Golfe-Juan > 10,8 km
  • Relay 6 : From Vallauris Golfe-Juan to Cannes > 6,4 km

Start marathon : 8:00 am – Promenade des Anglais, Nice
Finish line : Boulevard de la Croisette, Cannes
Time limit : 6:00
