Race Description

The race starts and finishs from Ravenscar the small hamlet pirched on the 700ft high sea cliffs overlooking Robin Hoods Bay, on the North Yorshire Moors. The route meanders along the sea cliffes heading south give stunning views down towareds Scarborough. the route then heads slightly inland to pick up section of trial before returning to the sea cliffes at cloughton wyke, here it heads north sticking to the coastal path (cleveland way), through the SSSI of hayburn wyke then on the cliffes all the way back to Ravenscar. The route is 70% on open fields/ footpath, 25 trail and 5% road. The route does undulate circa 1000ft over its length. So though not a PB course its does run through stunning scenery and the monies raised all go the the local Mountain Rescue Team who run and organise the event.
