Race Description

THE RAM RUN – MOTHER NATURE IS CHALLENGING YOU

The challenges in the RAM RUN are designed to interrupt the rhythm that the long distance runner loves. Many runners will love this course and hate the challenges it throws at them while many others will love the challenges and put up with the running! The feeling of achievement at the end will be fantastic.

Much of the running is on grassland but there are sections on hard tracks, sand, through undergrowth, several times through the River Avon (wild water swimming or wading), and the truly formidable ups and downs of the 4wheel drive track – the original Land Rover test track – plus several additional challenges inside the test track. So, the running is tough! In June mother nature will probably throw in vast quantities of nettles to add to the fun.
