Race Description

Way way up in Wawayanda – announcing our newest East Coast Ragnar Trail Relay; Ragnar Trail Wawayanda Lake presented by Salomon, in association with New York Road Runners. Located about 50 miles outside the lights of New York City is a hidden gem called Wawayanda (pronounced wah – way – yanda ) State Park. This northern New Jersey venue features a serene lake surrounded by forested hills, and a long stretch of the Appalachian Trail. Teams of 8 (or 4) members will run relay-style over two days and one night, to conquer a set of single-track trails that start and stop at Ragnar Village. Runners will set up camp on the shores of Wawayanda Lake. When the sun goes down, runners will revive and experience the party vibe. Ragnar Trail is like summer camp for adults, with beer, bonfires, s’mores, and a kickass finisher medal. Mark your running calendar for Oct. 6 – 7. and be prepared to find your #innerWILD.
