Race Description

This half-marathon race is mostly trail running in the beautiful red Top Mountain Park in Cartersville, GA. 13.1 miles over bridges, trails, running near the Allatoona Lake. The purpose of the race is to help provide funds that pay for the accidental death benefit for Law Enforcement Officers of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association. We give one year’s salary to the beneficiaries of an officer that is killed in the line of duty.
