Hello, does anyone know if this race is run on the fields by the sports complex, or on a track or path? I’ve only run on pavements/road whilst training, so if it’s grass I’m a bit screwed…
Hi Ann,
We’re not sure, but will pass your question along to Race For Life HQ and see if they know.
From my point of view, I usually train on road / pavement, so find running on grass a little tougher. You should be okay, though, over 5K, if you take it a touch steadier than normal. Race For Life courses are generally quite gentle, so you should be fine. Try to enjoy yourself whatever the surface!
