Race Description

Welcome to the 2013 Zions Bank Provo City Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k! The Marathon is a fast and scenic course which begins at South Fork Park and finishes in downtown Provo. The first 13 miles, which follows the same route as the Half Marathon, is a quick downhill through Provo Canyon, while the last half is a mostly flat run around Provo City (no quad killers here!). This is definitely the event to get your spring off to the right start and test your endurance after a long winter’s break. We continually strive to make this one of the best races in the valley for runners and spectators alike. The finish line is always a party with live music, Magleby’s Fresh breakfast, massages, entertainment and activities for kids, and of course an abundance of random prize giveaways. The marathon and half marathon courses are USATF Certified and the marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. All runners will be chip timed, receive gender specific performance tech shirts and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age division with large cash prizes to overall winners. All Marathon and Half Marathon finishers also receive custom finisher medals!
