Race Description

BEAST yourself on an epic 10k obstacle race over rough terrain, dirt tracks and forest; take on 20 mega obstacles on the way; run solo or in a team; win brilliant prizes; do it for charity; eat and drink top-quality local produce; be in ridiculous fancy dress … Do any of this and more at one of Scotland’s ‘beastliest’ obstacle races.
Can you tame the Beast of Banchory? Slide into the icy waters of Knockburn Loch, drag yourself through thick mud, over vertical wooden walls, scramble over cargo nets, squeeze through tunnels and slide your way to victory. These obstacles will test every inch of your body and mind!
It all starts on the banks of Knockburn Loch, within the picturesque Scottish landscape near Banchory in the heart of Aberdeenshire. Don’t be fooled by the pretty heather and Scots pine setting, this Beast has a sting in its tail!
Apart from having a brilliant time taming the Beast of Banchory you will be supporting Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, a vital charity that improves the quality of life for people in Scotland affected by chest, heart and stroke illness.
