Race Description

An open water sprint distance triathlon based at picturesque Pitsford Reservoir and utilising the superb facilities of Northampton Sailing Club and ample parking at the Brixworth Country Park Fantastic swim facilities, a single loop bike course and a run course that takes in the picturesque trail, providing all the ingredients for a special event.
As great addition to the well established Pitsford Sprint Triathlon we are adding the Pitsford Sprint Duathlon. If you want to get involved in the sport and feel the buzz but don’t want to “dip your toe in the water” then this is the event for you. The route comprises 5km out and back run along side the reservoir, a 20km single loop bike in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, and a final 5km out and back run to the finish.
Also to accommodate those who would rather avoid the running then we have an Aquabike race allowing you to complete the swim and bike section before racking your bike and a short dash to the finish
