Race Description

The first 5km takes you through Paddockhurst Woods and farmlands. This is both fun with brief moments respite to capture glimpses over the forests breathe taking scenery. Expect mud, in fact if this weather continues It’s likely to be a muddy run, especially through the first few kilometres. Trail shoes would be useful but if you don’t have any not to worry you’ll get around, eventually!

If you plan to stretch your legs and do the full 10k the second half of the run is designed over faster ground. The route takes you around a loop in the woods where this writer believes another writer of children’s books – Julia Donaldson – based the Gruffulo and the Mouse stories. Whether a parent or not it’s worth flicking through the book before you race, you never know you may meet a Gruffulo!

Enter solo or as part of a team. Please fundraise for the charities taking part in this event, contact details for the charities can be found on the charities page.

The grounds are managed by Tulleys Farm and registration, toilets and parking will all be available in and around the farm barn. Bring along supporters friends and family and while you’re completing the route they can take part in some of the fun activities around the farm even pick up the week’s groceries.
