Race Description

The route takes you out the beautiful Buchan countryside, through the village of St Fergus, and back into Peterhead. On route you will experience great views over the Buchan coast line and the River Ugie, then finishing with lap of the running track at Catto Park next to Peterhead Football Club. This event is chip timed, and is run under Scottish Athletic permit rules.

Cost for Peterhead Half Marathon is £12 to Jogscotland and Scottish Athletic members and £14 to non-members cost on the day £15 all those taking part will receive a Tshirt and medal.

Our aim is make the Peterhead Running Festival the friendliest Running Festival in Scotland as all abilities are welcome.

As well as the Peterhead Half Marathon, and Shell 5km we also have Shell School Fun Runs which last year attracted over 450 school children on the running track at Peterhead. Why not make it a family day out for you and your family by entering the Peterhead Half Marathon or Shell 5km and your children taking part in the Shell School Runs. The children will really enjoy it, and all the children taking part get a free goody bag and a medal. In addition to the running festival this year there will also be a kid’s school football tournament taking place and Peterhead Football club will also hold an open day making this a great day out for any family getting involved.
