Race Description

9km run or walk – Toia Road to Kaikohe.

14km run or walk – Okaihau (Two Ponga Park, by the Okaihau Fire Station) to Kaikohe.

Half Marathon (21.1km) run or walk – as for 14km route plus 7.1km from Station Road towards Kaikohe Airfield and return.

All events finish at the Heritage Kaikohe Pioneer Village, Recreation Road, Kaikohe.

The event takes place on the completed section of the Twin Coast Cycle Trail – Te Pou Herenga Tai.
Easy contours (former rail corridor) except for a very short steep section near the start.
Note that this is a fun event. Distances are not exact, and times are not recorded.
