Race Description

O’fficially cap off the festive four race series on St. Patrick’s Day running through the Coltsville Historic District running through the Coltsville Historic District, with a walker friendly 5K and an HMF FitKids event that all end in a grand finish at midfield inside Trinity Health Stadium, home of the Hartford Athletic!

All participants will receive a custom designed short sleeve shirt. After the race, participants 21+ (with ID) will get an ice cold beer and everyone enjoys some fresh food to re-fuel. Note, the race and party all start a little earlier in 2024 to accommodate afternoon St. Paddy’s festivities!

Lucky Challenge – Participate in all 4 O’ Races and earn the big bling! Check out the options for virtual/in-person combos to achieve the Lucky Challenge goal. Start with O’Shenanigans, then take on the Courthouse O’Putnam, O’Niantic and either the O’Hartford 5K or 10K.

NEW! Li’l Lucky – Love the idea of a challenge but can’t swing two weekends of racing in a row? Join the O’Niantic 5K on Saturday, March 16, and the O’Hartford 5K or 10K. All Li’l Lucky participants will earn a finisher medal.

Give Back: Please help give back to the community that has opened their streets for race participants. Donate nonperishable food in the HMF Can tent at Packet Pickup. HMF Can is supported by Stop and Shop.
