Race Description

The Nottingham Marrow Run is back for yet another year! Last year we managed to raise an INCREDIBLE £13,000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust with the help of over 450 runners!

This year we want to raise the bar even further and we’re aiming for £15,000 and for over 600 runners to take part.

As always we have 2 options. There’s the easier and more relaxed 5K run or for the fit and adventurous runners we have the 10K run. We’re sticking with the superhero theme from last year and again there will be prizes for the best dressed runners. The entry fee is £10 (cheques made payable to U OF N SU MARROW)

So who are we and why should you make the effort for us?

Marrow is a volunteer student organisation based in medical schools across the UK. We work in association with The Anthony Nolan Trust, taking back lives from leukaemia. We recruit new potential bone marrow donors to the national register and raise the charitable funds needed for these lifesaving activities.

Both Marrow and the Anthony Nolan Trust are charities and receive no government funding. It can cost the Trust up to £120 to recruit each donor, tissue-type each sample, and maintain the donor’s records.

With your support we can help them continue their life saving work!
