Race Description

Enjoy scenic views for 13.1 or 6.2 miles, running from Olde Mistick Village, past historic ships, through the charming downtown with the race finish at Mystic Aquarium.

All participants receive a short sleeve technical shirt and a custom designed finisher medal in this year’s much-anticipated signature race theme. After the finish, enjoy a stroll through picturesque Mystic and take advantage of some great discounts!

Children ages two through eleven can take part in the HMF FitKids Run at 9:30 am. There is a ¼ mile and ½ mile option most appropriate for the child’s age.

New in 2023 – Take on the Crabby Challenge! Run either distance in Mystic in addition to any distance at the L+M Summer Stride 5K and 10K on July 15; and at the Surftown Half Marathon, Relay and 5K on September 10 to earn the special Crabby Challenge medal.

HMF is proud to continue our support of the Rotary Club of Mystic as the charity partner of the Mystic Half and 10K. The Rotary Club is dedicated to making a positive impact on the greater Mystic area through an annual scholarship program, local grants program and international efforts.
