Race Description

2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Moonlight Bootlegger Greensboro! Since 2012, thousands of people have enjoyed the amazing tealight lit course, live bluegrass music, and refreshing cocktails at this Moonlight Bootlegger 5K. Follow the sound of the music and hundreds of candles on the trail to find your way to the finish line where you will be treated to live bluegrass, moonshine cocktails, finishers mason jar glasses, and some of the best 5K prizes out there.

For those new to Bootleggin’, this race takes place after dark. Athletes must have a headlamp or flashlight. We will put out 300+ tea lights along this well-marked trail so you never have to worry about getting lost.

What’s Included in Registration?
Custom Bootlegger 5K shirt (Register at least 2 weeks before race day to guarantee a shirt.)
2 tickets for post-race moonshine cocktails
Post-race food
Pre and post-race bluegrass and old timey music
Commemorative moonshine mason jar to enjoy your cocktail in!
