Race Description

The Michigan PJ 5K will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at the Waterford Oaks County Park in Waterford, Michigan. The festivities start at 10:30 am with a kids 1K race and the 5K starting at 11:00 am.
For those who are familiar with Finish Line Runs, we LOVE themed events and the PJ 5K is no different. We’re known for our Halloween-themed event, The Michigan Monster Dash, and we wanted to have a fun-themed, family-friendly event in the winter. The PJ 5K’s theme is PAJAMAS!!!! Get your thermals on, put your favorite PJ’s on and come join us.
This event is supported by Oakland County Parks and is being held as part of the Winter Festival held at the Oakland County Park, Waterford Oaks. This festival will include a HEATED tent with all kinds of fun activities that will begin after the race. Participants will START and FINISH right in front of the festival and once you finish your race, you’ll head into the nice warm tent where there will be food and drink for you as a race participant.
The main event is the festival with different vendors providing arts, crafts, foods, and other fun activities that you and your family will surely enjoy.
As with all Finish Line Runs events, our t-shirt and medal are AWESOME and custom-designed for this event. Come join us and be a part of this great family-friendly event that features a pretty fantastic Oakland County Park.
