Marathon Bahamas is a great winter-running weekend (January 19-20) which includes a Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure 5K preceding the marquee event on January 20 (marathon, half marathon, four-person relay).
A race for all fitness levels and a weekend for the entire family.

Furiously scenic (along the ocean and through history) and fast (two bridges at the begining; otherwise, flat).
