Race Description

The Publix Lowcountry Roots, Rock & Reggae Run is a unique and colorful twilight run through Hilton Head Lakes in Hardeeville.

The unique race format allows runners an opportunity to choose to participate in the 5k Roots Run at 5pm, the 10K Rock Run at 6pm or the 15k Reggae Run. ( combined time of both the 5K & 10K ) Participants who choose the 15K receive a tie-die and a tech t-shirt, all other participants receive a colorful tech t-shirt.

The Roots, Rock & Reggae Run promises to be a fun and entertaining. The Inaugural event will be held on May, 11th in honor of Bob Marley who died on that day in 1981. The colorful Post Race Sunsplash Party & Award Ceremony is a celebration of Bob featuring live reggae music from “Patwa”, refreshments, beer, a Bob Marley look a like contest and more.
